MOA Museum of Art

Masterpieces of Eastern art are on display, including Ogata Korin’s national treasure, the “Red and White Plum Blossoms Screen.”

Atami Plum Garden + Masahiro Sawada Memorial Museum

One of Japan’s leading plum gardens, opened during the Meiji period.
The garden, decorated with the changing colors of the seasons, also houses an art museum exhibiting works by Atami-born Buddhist sculptor Sawada Masahiro,
where you can experience a tranquil moment interwoven with art and nature.

Kiunkaku

A historic mansion exuding the charm of Taisho-era romance. The interior harmoniously blends Japanese and Western aesthetics, creating a serene space once loved by literary greats such as Osamu Dazai and Naoya Shiga. Kinomiya Shrine

Atami’s oldest shrine, watched over by a sacred camphor tree said to be over 2,000 years old. Visitors are soothed by the sacred tree, which is said to extend your life if you walk around it, and by the fragrant coffee at the shrine’s on-site café.
